This seminar comes as part of the ongoing efforts of Al-Rahma Development Foundation to support community and awareness programs focused on children and families. It aims to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of speech and language delays, and to strengthen the role of parents in developing their children’s communication skills.
During the seminar, Dr. Mahmoud covered several key educational topics, including:
How to recognize the early signs of speech delay in children.
The difference between natural delay and speech or communication disorders.
Home-based strategies to support a child’s language and communication development.
The impact of smart devices and social isolation on language development.
The seminar witnessed a notable attendance of 50 participants—both men and women—who engaged actively with the topics presented and posed questions about the best ways to support their children in overcoming speech and communication challenges.
At the conclusion of the seminar, attendees expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Al-Rahma Development Foundation and the Safoula Charitable Medical Center for organizing such meaningful events that contribute to building an aware family and a cooperative community. They emphasized the importance of continuing such awareness programs, which address real family and educational needs.
